Ya’ thi Néné Lands & Resources is committed to and supports employment, education, and training initiatives in the Athabasca Basin. In collaboration with community, business and industry, Ya’ thi Néné works to guide development and align both business and workforce opportunities for the long-term benefit of the Athabasca Denesułiné First Nations and Athabasca communities. The Ya’ thi Néné EXPORT Database will provide community members with a platform to give community partners a more direct connection to community businesses, employment and training goals to better meet community needs and maximize on opportunity. The objectives of the Ya’ thi Néné Export Database are to:

• Create increased education and training initiatives in the community that support long-term meaningful employment

• Increase employment opportunities by attracting diverse companies and service providers to the Athabasca region

• Encourage and support entrepreneurialism and business start-ups by community members

• Establish and build new business lines for community-owned development corporations

• Determine key performance indicators and to set measurable employment and training outcomes
