Duty to Consult: Natural Resources Canada Magnetic Survey
What type of activities will occur?
1. Proposed project work consist of a ground magnetotelluric survey to measure the earth’s electric and magnetic fields by digging 7 holes per station (see attached map) to install Magnetometers, electrodes and magnetotelluric recording units for up to 24 hours.
2. The holes will be re-filled once the measurement is completed and the sites will be accessed by helicopter with 3 person crew.
3. The flight and land operation will require no low level continuous flight.
4. This program is projected to start September 11 and end on September 23, 2021.
When will these activities occur (Permit Length)? If approved, permits may be issued from September 11 to October 11, 2021
