Duty to Consult: 2022-2023 Orano Canada Inc. Kernaghan/ Bell Project – Geophysics & Line cutting

What type of activities will occur?

1.     The project consists of line cutting and line slashing of up to 50 kilometers of line not exceeding 1.5-meter width.

2.     Line cutting will be carried out with hand tools either chainsaw or axe.

3.     A small temporary camp will be required on a historic drill site to accommodate personnel while carrying out ground geophysical surveys.

4.     The area is accessible by float/ski plane or by snowmobile/UTV or vehicle if snow is removed from the existing trail.

5.     The project work will be carried out over a 4-week period between December 1, 2021 and June 30, 2023.

 When will these activities occur (Permit Length)?  If approved, December 2021 till June 2023.
