Duty to Consult: Fortune Bay 2022-2023 Mineral Exploration Permit Application for the Strike Lakes Project - Drilling

What type of activities will occur?

  • The proposed project includes up to 11 drill holes, with pads measuring a maximum of 900 meters squared.

  • Proposed work consists of up to 8 drill collars on land, and up to 3 on ice. This project will utilize ice roads, and existing trails, as well as new trails to be established.

  • The proposed project may require a Temporary work camp for project personnel.

When will the activities occur (permit length)?

Estimated to last approximately 24 weeks between January 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.
