Duty to Consult: IsoEnergy Larocque East Temporary Work Camp Expansion - Core Shack Relocation
What type of activities will occur?
Purpose of the request is to move the tents that they currently use to log drill core to a location further away from the regular core logging areas.
No additional tents, but relocating existing tents about 60 metres away from the rest of camp.
The proposed area was chosen due to tree cover being relatively thin and young and the ground is fairly flat.
Consists of clearing a 25-meter trail (5 km width) in an easterly direction from the existing camp to a small area (30 meters by 60 meters) to be cleared for placement of tents.
Note: Hot shack is where core with higher mineral content is stored.
Permit Length: February 2021 to March 2022.
