Duty to Consult: IsoEnergy Ltd Proposed 2022-2025 Larocque East Mineral Exploration Project

What type of activities will occur?

1.     The proponent plans on utilizing, re-establishing and re-furbishing up to 33 kilometers of grid lines, from 2019 and the early 2000’s, to a maximum width of 1-meter.

2.     25 kilometers of new line cutting, to a maximum width of 1.5 meters, is being proposed. The geophysics being planned is gravity and/or passive seismic along grid lines, which will not cause addition disturbance.

3.     The proposed drilling will consist of up to 150 holes, land and ice drilling, with drill pads being 30 meters by 30 meters.

4.     A helicopter program is being proposed to reduce trail establishment and usage. If helicopter supported up to 60 helicopter pads would be cleared to accommodate the program.

5.     Drill pad sites will be re-purposed as a helicopter pad when required.

6.     Access to work area and drill sites will be via both existing trails and up to 20 kilometers of new trails are being proposed at no more than 5 meters in width.

7.     Approximately, 23.4 kilometers of existing trail will be re-established and utilized to minimize new trail development. Ice road development is being proposed with a total lineage of 5 kilometers.

8.     Establishment of two (2) new Temporary Work camps is required. 

When will these activities occur (Permit Length)? If approved, March 2022 till March 2025.
