Duty to Consult: Denison Mines Corp. Waterbury Lake Proposed Exploration Program

What type of activities will occur?

1.    There will be 15 drill holes, 3600 meters total. Drill holes may be located within the 30 – 100 metres shoreline buffer zone. This application is requesting permission to access shoreline buffer zone, if needed.

2.    All clearing within 100 meters of any waterbody or watercourse will be hand cut, unless otherwise approved.

3.    The crews may need to open up the existing trail/winter road to access the grid area; there will be no additional clearing of trails, just snow clearing & snow compaction, through the use of snowcats, snowmobiles, and/or skidder.

4.    All Denison personnel and contractors will be based out of Points North Landing, with daily commute to work areas via truck and/or winter vehicles.

 When will these activities occur?

During the winter 2021 line cutting will occur The drilling program, tentatively planned for the summer of 2021, is being proposed. Additionally, a small core re-logging program is tentatively planned for the summer of 2021, with exact dates to be determined.

 Permit Length: If approved, February 2021 to December 31, 2021.
