dtc_fission3_heartybay_2.jpg

What type of activities will occur?

  1. Total of 56 kilometers of line cutting for geophysical grid. Approximately 60-70% of the geophysics grid will be on lake ice.

  2. 30 drill holes, 5 on land and 25 on ice.

  3. The project can only be accessed via float plane, helicopter, or boat during summer months. During winter months, the ice road from Stony Rapids to Uranium City cuts through the property and provides access to and from Stony Rapids, Fond-du-Lac, and Uranium City.

  4. One temporary work camp will be set up to provide temporary accommodation.

  5. When the ice road from Stony Rapids to Uranium City opens in mid-February, it is anticipated that most or all activities will be supported from permanent accommodations in Fond du Lac or Stony Rapids, and that very little to no workers would stay at the temporary work camp.

  6. Anticipated that drilling activities would use diesel fuel from Fond du Lac.

When will these activities occur (Permit Length)? If approved, May 2021 till August 2022.
