Duty to Consult: Orano Midwest Project

Who? Orano Canada

Where? The Midwest Project is located 1 km from the airstrip at Points North.

What type of activities will occur? Diamond exploration activities, including:

• Drilling of 30 holes, on land and ice, drill pads of 30 x 30 m

• Borehole geophysical surveys on drill holes

• Establishment of 20 km of new trails (5 m wide)

• Use of 20 km of existing trail and 15 km of ice roads

• Establishment of 20 m fire guard around Moffatt Lake core storage site

• No temporary work camp

When will these activities occur (Permit Length)? December 2022 to December 2024
