Duty to Consult: UEX Axis Lake - Prospecting and Sampling

What type of activities will occur?

1.   Work area will be accessed by boat or aircraft from Stony Rapids.

2.  Conduct ground traverses of the land to collect geological information and samples of the outcrop in the area. 10-14 days in June 2021. Crews will pull a geophysical tool behind them that is pulled along the ground as they walk.

3.  No line cutting or generation of trails is proposed for this work program.

4.  UEX is committed to utilizing as much local labour and services as possible and should UEX go ahead with this proposed program, they intend to hire people from Black Lake to work with us in the field.

 When will these activities occur (Permit Length)?  If approved, April 2021 to October 2021. They will be in the area for about 10 to 14 days in June 2021.
