Duty to Consult: Denison Johnston Project

Who? Denison Mines

Where? The Johnston Lake Project is located 18 km west of Cameco’s Cigar Lake Mine.

What type of activities will occur? Mineral exploration activities, including:

• Drilling of 55 holes (on land and on ice)

• Clearing of 50 km of existing trails for overland haul road, with some water crossings likely required (from Cigar Lake Mine to Gunboot Camp)

• Clearing of 17 km of existing trails

• Clearing of 5 km of new trails

• Up to 130 km of line-cutting

• Personnel accommodated at Gunboot Camp or near an unnamed lake northwest of Mullins Lake
