Duty to Consult: 2022 Appia Rare Earth & Uranium Corp – Loranger Mineral Exploration Project

What type of activities will occur?

1.     Proposed project work consists of diamond drilling up 20 drill holes on land on Loranger Island on Wollaston Lake and adjacent to the Wollaston Lake Seasonal Road.

2.     Up to 20 kilometers of new trails and up to 32 kilometers of existing trails are proposed to access drill target areas. Drill pads will not exceed 20 meters by 20 meters and new established trails and clearing of existing trails will not exeed 5-meter width.

3.     A skidder will be used to remove snow from existing trails from the community of Wollaston Lake and to establish the new trails to drill target areas.

4.     Personnel will be accommodated at Wollaston Lake Motel while working in the project area.

5.     One stream crossing within the SaskPower line right-of-way may require a free-spanning bridge and two additional crossings may be required on the Wollaston Seasonal Road right-of-way if those crossings are not already in place.

6.     Project activities are expected to take place for up to eight (8) weeks between January 2022 and April 30, 2022. 

When will these activities occur (Permit Length)? If approved, January 2022 until April 2022.
