Duty to Consult: Cameco’s McArthur Project

Where? The McArthur River Project is located about 105 km west-southwest of Wollaston Lake Post.

What type of activities will occur? Mineral exploration activities, including:

• Drilling of 45 holes, on land and ice, drill pads of 30 x 30 m

• Establishment of 30 helicopter pads

• Establishment of 50 km of new trails (5 m wide)

• Line cutting of 155 km (1.5 m wide)

• Establishment of a temporary work camp

When will these activities occur (Permit Length)? Cameco is requesting a three-year permit for 2023-2025
