Duty to Consult: 2022-2023 Fission 3.0 Corp – Murphy Lake Mineral Exploration Project Diamond Drilling, Ground Geophysical Survey and Line Cutting
What type of activities will occur?
Proposed project work consists of diamond drilling of up twelve(12) drill holes, electromagnetic and resistivity geophysical surveys and a temporary work camp.
5.3 kilometers of existing trails may be utilized to traverse the work area.
The project will be carried out with fixed wing and rotary aircraft. All drill pads, helicopter pads and line cutting will all be carried out with hand tools.
Line-cutting consists of clearing up to 28 kilometers of new grid lines and refurbishing 24 kilometers of existing grid lines (not exceeding 1.5-meter width).
Line slashing of up to 24 kilometers will be carried out with a machete (not exceeding 1-meter width).
Fourteen (14) kilometers of picketing is proposed on ice covered waterbodies.
Drill pads will not exceed 20 meters by 20 meters and helicopter pads will not exceed 30 meters by 30 meters in size.
Personnel will be accommodated at a temporary work camp that is proposed in an existing clearing near an un-named lake(see attached map).
The line cutting and DC Resistivity geophysical survey is proposed to be carried out in the early spring before the ice deteriorates and the drilling is proposed in summer.
Project activities are expected to take place for up to five(5) weeks for the drilling program and up to four(4) weeks for the line cutting and geophysical surveys program. between
When will these activities occur? If approved, April 2022 and December 2022. Permits will be issued until September 2023.
